Welcome To Issue 4!
Thank you for your continued support of Hessle Rangers and the club newsletter. It was an incredible weekend of football in bright spring sunshine with a very poignant note as we were reminded just how lucky we are to have happy, healthy children playing football.
This weekend is silent support weekend with full details below. We know not everyone loves the concept but there are far bigger worries in the world and we hope everyone will support it the best they can and not let the club down.

Silent Support Weekend
On 15th/16th March, it's this season's silent support weekend.
Silent Support Weekend is here to help young players to find their voice on the pitch, make their own decisions and enjoy their game…with no distracting noise from spectators on the sidelines.
We know it's hard not to shout and cheer for your favourite player but encourage parents to listen to the players on the pitch, find out how much they know the game and encourage and organise their own team and applaud great play from both teams loudly and proudly!

One Minute For Poppy
Hessle Rangers teams took part in beautifully observed minute's silences this weekend to remember Poppy Atkinson, a 10-year-old girl tragically killed in Kendal last week.
We'd like to thank all of our coaches and managers for ensuring that Poppy was thought of right throughout the club and to the boys and girls for their impecable behaviour. You are all a credit to Hessle Rangers.
Sleep tight, Poppy. We send our deepest condolences to your family and friends for their loss.

U9 Colts Fundraiser!
Hessle Rangers U9 Colts completed their individual fundraiser for the Bilsdon Park Development Project by walking from Hessle to North Ferriby along the beautiful foreshore route. The boys and coaches have raised an outstanding amount - over £700 so far. Well done!
Full details of the development project are in the link below. We are still looking for any additional ideas and revenue whether you know of a grant or a sponsorship that might be available or can plan an epic fundraising challenge. 2025 is the year to deliver incredible facilities for our children and our future!

U10 Girls Fundraiser!
Hessle Rangers U10 Girls and faithful mascot completed their individual fundraiser for the Bilsdon Park Development Project by walking the opposite route from North Ferriby to Hessle Foreshore.
These supergirls completed their walk straight after stepping off the pitch at Springhead! You are incredible girls, well done!
