Welcome to Issue 10!
After a bank holiday break, Hessle Rangers were back in action at the weekend. The season is coming to a close with our mens and ladies first teams having played their last games and our younger teams are also winding down.
This weekend saw the first tournament action of what already feels like summer, with the ladies and the U12 Colts heading to the Bridlington Beach tournament and the U9 girls picking up our first winner's medals of 2025.
Elsewhere, the entire focus of the senior committee is on completing funding for the Bilsdon Park Development Project which is now tantalising close. If you won Euromillions this weekend or you or someone you know runs their own business and would like to sponsor the project - please get in touch!

U9 Girls win East Hull Falcons tournament!
As mentioned above, Hessle Rangers U9 Girls were our first tournament winners of the year. The girls entered two teams into the tournament, to give everyone greater game time, and the two Hessle Rangers teams met in the final. Shockingly, Hessle Rangers won!
Well done, girls. You are amazing!

U14 Juniors Fundraising Presentation Night
Hessle Rangers U14 Juniors held their presentation night after their final game of the season and held a sponsored bowling match to raise funds for the Bilsdon Park Development Project.
The boys told the newsletter that Coach Rob was sponsored £100 for every strike and we can confirm that he raised the grand total of £0.00. Thanks, Rob.
If you haven't read about the project yet (and we bang on about it enough!) the details are linked below.
Well done, boys, on a great event and a great season. We're very proud to have you.

U13 Girls Fundraiser
Hessle Rangers U13 Girls completed their fundraising run in the Country Park - raising funds for the Bilsdon Park development project.
The girls did a great job on a very warm day and have so far raised well over £700 through their crowdfunder. You can still support the girls using the link below.

KCOM treat for the U11 Juniors
Hessle Rangers U11 Juniors attended the Hull City vs. Derby County match as guests of KCOM to show off the kits that they won during the season. The boys had prime seats in the South Stand behind the goal and walked around the pitch waving flags at half-time.
Given the result of the game, a few of them should have stepped on to the pitch for the second half!
Well done, boys.
