Welcome to Issue 9!
It was another beautiful spring weekend at Bilsdon Park and right across the region where Hessle Rangers boys and girls teams represented the club as wonderfully as always.
With the weather about to take a bit of a turn, including some much needed rain (sorry to all you sun worshippers!), the players basked on a glorious Saturday and a cooler but lovely Sunday.
We had the ladies from SoChocolata and Bunches of Books join us at Bilsdon Park, selling brownies and cookies and Easter gifts - giving some small businesses in the community an audience and our players and parents something a bit different on a Sunday morning. The "brownie lady" as she's becoming known will be back for some Girls league games on Saturday 3rd May.
Thank you for your continued support of our great club.

Boot and equipment swap shop
For the last few years, Hessle Rangers have offered donated boots - and sometimes shinpads, gloves and kit - for free in the sports hall at Bilsdon Park.
If you have old boots and equipment with plenty of life left in them, you can donate them by dropping them off in the big blue box in the sports hall. There are plenty of good pairs there already that you can swap or just take. Donating or swapping the old boots saves waste and saves money.
In the past, boots and equipment not taken over time have been donated to inner City primary schools for children playing in school teams who don't have any.
Thanks to everyone who continues to donate equipment. It all goes to a good home.

Getting ready for 2025/26
One of the key tasks for next season is well underway with teams being formed from the boys and girls from First Touch Football and Wildcats. Currently, it looks like three new U7 teams will enter the Hull And District Youth Football League and one new U8 Girls team will enter the East Riding Girls Football League.
Some parents have volunteered to step up as coaches/managers of the teams - some more willingly than others! - but we are always looking for potential volunteer coaches so if you or someone you know would like to get involved, email hesslerangers@hotmail.com

Bunch of Wallies
For their individual fundraiser for the Bilsdon Park Development Project, Hessle Rangers Ladies ran across the Humber Bridge in "Where's Wally?" fancy dress. Despite being far easier to spot than Wally is in his books, the Ladies gave it their all. As a bit of team building, it was also effective as the Ladies lost narrowly at title chasing AFC Preston last Sunday before beating South Cave 4-2 away on Thursday night.
The amount raised towards the project from the individual fundraisers has now passed £13,000 and continues to grow.
If your team haven't taken part yet, be the person to get it going!

Thank You To Our Sponsors
Thank You to Triton Power for their sponsorship of Hessle Rangers U13 Jaguars Home Kit.
Triton Power is a private independent power generating company with a capacity of 1.35GW. Based at Saltend Chemicals Park, Hull, they provide power to the UK wholesale electricity market through UK power stations, playing an important role in security of supply when renewable generation does not deliver. Their combined output is sufficient to provide electricity for up to half a million homes in the UK.
Thank You for your incredible support.
